3. River Island Fair Isle Stag Jumper - I love a good jumper on a guy and a festive jumper is a winner in my book. fair isle and reindeers are lie two of my favourite Christmassy things so this jumper is absolutely perfect! and its currently on sale for £28 down from £35.

4. Boss Orange for Men from Boots - Aftershave is usually the first thing that comes to mind when I think mens Christmas gifts. This smells absolutely amazing and is currently a bargain of £29.50 for a huge 100ml bottle which has a saving of £19.

What presents have you bought for the men in your life? Is it just me that finds dads the hardest to buy for?

Stiletto Nails

Hello lovelies,

Stiletto nails have been around a super long time now, its always a nail trend I have loved from afar but never really divulged in, until now.

I had my work Christmas party last night and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to jump on the stiletto nail band wagon.

When I go to the nail salon I usually go for a short, square tip French manicure as I don't really think you can go wrong with it so even though I knew I wanted stiletto nails I wasn't sure on the colour. My dress was pale pink so I went for a pink that admittedly isn't as light as I was expecting it to be but as im quite pale skinned myself it was probably best it wasn't any lighter, along with a glitter accent nail. Im planning on switching the colour up pretty quickly but not sure what to go for!
Overall I'm super impressed with my first go of stiletto nails, they're not as lethal as I thought they would be! Especially as I work with children! and its sometimes nice to move away from the norm and try something a bit more out of your comfort zone!

Happy Tuesday!

Winter Wishlist

Hi lovelies!
I think you all know I love a good wishlist post, theres always something that i'm lusting after! I thought that it was about time I put together a winter wishlist post of the things i'm wanting this season!
I think that this season its about time I invested in a nice pair of wellies (you don't even want to know what autocorrect tried changing that to!) Ive always thought I wouldn't get a lot of wear out of them but I could bring them out year on year! Plus I have huge calves which isn't ideal when finding wellies! However I have found these gorgeous wellies that are shorter than a usual pair of wellies and have a buckle so they can be adjusted around the calf/ankle, perfect!

Im such a fan of floral dresses, all year round and not just in the summer. I love this one from River Island which comes in at a bargain of £25. I think with the black background you can definitely get away with it in winter and the floral pattern is quite subtle.

New Look is a store that is bursting with items I want to get my hands on at this minute, I am in love with this black and gold shift dress that has a gorgeous necklace attached. I think it would be perfect for a Christmas party! And what an affordable price of £22.99!

Again from new look, in theme with the previous item is this dark red shift dress with necklace detail. It currently has money off too and is a little less than £20 which I think is incredible. Bare legs and heels would make this the ideal party outfit!

I love a good leather sleeve combo on a jacket and this light brown trench coat from River Island has really taken my fancy! I think it is reasonably priced at £85, however is similar to one I purchased from Primark for a even more reasonable £25, so I doubt I would go ahead and splurge on this one!

What are you lusting after at this time of year?

Review: Panache Savannah Swimsuit

Hey ladies,

So before I popped on my holidays I was sent this absolutely stunning swimsuit from Panache. Panache is a brand that of course I had heard of but never looked into for underwear never mind swimwear.

I had my pick of the whole range and as I was going away I thought it would be appropriate to choose swimwear. I chose the Savannah Padded Bandeau Swimsuit that is the most stunning purple I have ever seen. With Panache you choose your bra size and not your body size. I went with my usual, 38D and I must admit it couldn't be any more a perfect fit! The cups are moulded and have inner foam cups for extra support so it literally feels like there is a bra attached in your swimsuit which I personally loved as it made my chest look amazing! It can be worn strapless or with straps either as a halter neck or normal but each and every time I've worn this I've worn it strapless.

I have honestly had nothing but amazing compliments when wearing this swimsuit. Whether it be down to the stunning colour, amazing print or the shape of the swimsuit. I have such a hourglass figure and even I feel confident when wearing this. I didn't just stop at wearing it abroad either I also rocked it to my Gym (obviously not to exercise but in the Jacuzzi!)
I honestly cant rave enough about the whole swimsuit at all! I have nothing but good to say about it! The print is absolutely stunning and the gold and pink really compliment the vibrant purple.
Down to the nitty gritty, the price! This swimsuit from Panache comes in at £49 which you may think is pretty pricey for swimwear. However I do believe you are paying for quality and quality this is! The inner foam cups are amazing and give your bust such a lift and obviously it is fit to the size of your bust not the size of your body.
Better still, I have managed to find it on the Very website for 50% off! Making this little beauty a affordable £24.50. You honestly cant get better than that!

You can view it on the Panache website here.

Review: Ray Ban Original Wayfarer

Hey dolls,

Its literally been a month now since i got back from my holiday, seriously where does time go? Summer is officially over and i am back to work tomorrow!

For pretty much every holiday i either get myself a brand new pair of sunglasses before i go or whilst away, last year i purchased a pair of D&G Cat Eye sunglasses whilst in Florida, but this year was the turn of the Ray Ban Original Wayfarers*. I received mine from Smart Buy Glasses that specialise in and sell a wide selection of designer sunglasses. They also have free worldwide delivery which is amazing!
I went for the Ray Ban RB2140 Original Wayfarers in the size 54, the largest that they do in the tortoiseshell Havana print with brown shaded lens as i find them less harsh on my face than the black.

The pair i chose retail for £88.95 with free delivery which i think is pretty incredible value. Shipping was quick and efficient and i would definitely use the Smart Buy Glasses website again. I already have my eye on a Dolce and Gabbana pair, although they can wait for the time being as Autumn is upon us!

The link to the exact pair i received is here.

So tell me, whats your sunglasses choice? I'm building up quite a sunglasses collection and would love to know your favourites!

Justin Bieber The Key Fragrance Review

Hey lovelies,

I make it no secret that I am pretty much in love with Justin Bieber. I have all his albums, know all the words to his songs, have seen him perform 3 times and blast out and sing along to his music in my car at every opportunity.

When I found out he was due to release a new perfume, The Key*, I just knew that I had to get my hands on it after owning his first fragrance, someday. It was released in the UK on the 21st August so it is less than 2 weeks old and already sold out in some stores.

The box is pretty simple, has a gorgeous picture of the man himself on one side plus lots of gold keys. The bottle itself is white in colour with a gold metal key hanging from one side that can be taken off and attached to something, maybe your keys?
In terms of the scent, it really does smell much more grown up than his first two fragrance offerings. It is still floral but not as sugary sweet and fruity as someday and girlfriend and definitely smells more mature. Maybe he was aiming this at his older fans such as myself! It is much more subtle and would be perfect for girls and ladies of most ages.
Top notes
Mandarin, Pear, Boysenberry, Osmanthus Blossoms
Heart notes
Pink jasmine, water lily, peach nectar
Base notes
Musks, woods, vanilla, raspberry cream
Its available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml size bottles, ranging from £24 for the smallest and £39 for the largest.

You can buy it now from The Perfume Shop.

As a massive Biebs fan thi was never going to let me down. Especially as I love the sweet and fruity scents of his first two perfumes. If they weren't for you, this is a much more subtle, powdery, floral scent that is lighter and perfect for everyday wear.

Guest Post: Top Buys for Ultimate Body Confidence

It’s impossible to look good unless you feel good too – and there’s nothing quite like stepping out in a brand new outfit that flatters your shape to make you feel like a million dollars. Whether you’ve got an important event coming up or just want a wardrobe overhaul, check out this selection of the ultimate body confidence boosting buys.
Dresses with Sleeves
Unless you're Michelle Obama, chances are you spend a lot of time wishing your arms were just a little more toned. Dresses with sleeves effortlessly provide cover  and best of all, we live in exactly the right climate to justify them.
As Lynda Bellingham says: “Arm cover that doesn’t compromise my sense of style is key. I feel more self-assured when my arms have a certain amount of cover.” Sleeved dresses often look more ladylike than strapless and shoulder-baring styles, so keep things sophisticated with floating fabrics that soften your arms and intricate embellishments that draw the eye to your neckline and wrists.
Ballet Flats and Wedge Heels
Sensible shoes can make you feel outdated, so ballet flats are ideal for women who want to be comfortable and practical but still stylish. As much as we may love our heels, there's no denying the elegance of a simple and versatile flat, whether you wear them with skinny jeans or with a black cocktail dress à la Holly Golightly.
If you feel the need for a bit of height without sacrificing comfort, wedge heels are a great alternative to both ballet flats and high heels. You'll get the same sway in your step that stilettos provide, but without the pain - or the risk of snapping a heel!
Statement Accessories
Statement accessories help brighten up and balance an outfit, drawing attention away from problem areas. They’re also great for dabbling with more daring fabrics in a controlled way, especially if you're a bit wary of all-over neon or leopard print. Carol Vorderman suggests wearing an animal-print accessory to add a pop of colour and liven up your usual look.
Ultimately, it's about finding those clothes that not only suit your shape, but that you really love. When you feel like doing a celebratory dance in front of the fitting room mirror, you'll know you're on to a confidence boosting winner.

Jaeger Posey Tote Bag

Hello!

Jager is not a brand that I am overly familiar with but having my daily online shopping browse this morning on the John Lewis website I came across this handbag that I thought would be extremely work appropriate.

Its the Jaeger Posey Tote Bag, in navy although its quite a dark navy bordering black which I love and it also has gold hardware and accents which I think compliment's the shade perfectly. I love the lock and key detail that it has on one strap and I think it is simple, yet chic and wouldn't date.
At £199.99 its not the cheapest of handbags I must admit, but you know my love affair of handbags and expensive ones at that so quite 'cheap' in comparison to the Louis Vuitton's and Vivienne Westwood that I already own! Plus its leather, has a long handle so would be perfect to throw over my shoulder and to justify, I don't actually own a tote/shoulder bag. I honestly think I'm sold!
I think it looks so elegant and the leather looks to die for! I need to go see it for myself in person!
What are your thoughts? Is Jaeger a brand you by from?
I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Bargain Boots!

Hello lovelies,

Although mid-August I'm really starting to get excited for winter and the colder months, especially now my holiday is over and done with! I always tend to leave boot shopping way too late in the year and there's never anything I like left in stores when I finally do get round to it! This time around I've decided to start early, and I'm already on the hunt for the perfect pair of winter boots! Usual criteria is a dark colour, usually black and quite a small heel.
I was scoping on the New Look website and found these beauties that are a bargain of £35 down from £69.99, this is why sometimes I also think it pays off to shop early! In the summer months you can get some amazing deals and discounts on clothes and shoes when bought out of season. I love the black real leather and chunky heel. Only problem for me is at 3 inches and 5''9 they are just a little too high! Still might try scope them out and find them in store for a little try on sesh, for that price it would be rude not to! You would expect to pay so much more for a pair of real leather boots!
What would you pair them with? I'm still on the hunt for perfect winter boots!

Dress Down...Thursday?

Hello lovelies!

Forget the usual dress down Friday, its the school summer holidays for me which means everyday is a casual day.

I love converse, always have and I think I always will. They are comfortable and most people pull them off so effortlessly and look amazing in them. Being a bigger girl, I find it just a little bit harder to make them look as good! I did try though! Mine are the white (and believe me I keep them white, white!) All Star Ox Shoes.

As I only got back from holiday last week (Turkey if you're wondering - would anyone be interested in a instagram/picture blog post of this? Please let me know if you would!) My legs are still pretty tanned, which is quite an achievement for me I must say, which meant I took advantage of this! So I threw on my trusty cream floral dress from primark and my white Converse from Surfdome which you can see here.
I actually got the inspiration for this outfit from the ITV2 programme Girlfriends which second season started last night and one of the girls was rocking this. I like it, I think its cute and perfect for casual, comfy days when you don't have many plans.

I must say, its felt so, so good writing this blog post and I really should get back into the swing of regular posting. Admittedly life has gotten in the way, so much more than I should let it. But things are going to change!

As always thanks for reading lovelies and sticking by me, it means a lot!

Music Magpie

Hello lovelies,

I have been a fan of selling websites such as Ebay for a long time and usually sell items that were an expensive impulse buy that I have never used, clothes I have bought and never go on to wear or items I just simply no longer use! However, the fees I find are sometimes extortionate especially for more expensive items (which is usually what I list on ebay!)

Whilst searching for alternatives, I recently came across the Music Magpie website. Although the name suggests its a website where you sell CDs you can now sell clothes, electronics, DVDs and games.
For CDs, DVDs and games all you need to do is enter the barcode of the product and simply click get value. For clothes enter the brand and type of garment, such as 'River Island Cardigan' then fill in the size, colour and material form and then Music Magpie offer you a price on each item you list.

I think its a fantastic website if you have got a lot of items that you want to get rid of as the total will quickly add up! It is simple, quick and easy to use. For clothes and CDs there is a minimum of 10 items per order and a maximum of 500 so you can make quite a bit of money!

Another massive plus point of Music Magpie for me is that you can send all your items to them for free either using their free courier service or free send service. How amazing is that? Especially with the price it costs to post things these days!

So that's it, I think I have banged on about how much I love the Music Magpie website way too much! I am off to list some of the old clothes that are still hanging up in my wardrobe that no longer fit!

Have you ever used the Music Magpie website before? What are your thoughts? I would love to know!

Review: Casetagram

Happy Saturday!

If you follow me on Instagram you will know that i am pretty snap happy and love taking pictures and uploading them onto their using pretty filters! I have nearly 400 photos on there and knew that one day soon i wanted a pretty Iphone case for them as id seen a few girls review them on their blogs!

Cue Casetagram!
Casetagram is a website where you can design phone cases for not just Iphones but other phones too, plus Ipads and Ipods. You can choose either a black or white outer case and different picture layouts. I chose the  golden grid layout on a frosted white case for the Iphone 4S which could hold 24 pictures on! It costed $34.99 which translated to around £22 with free shipping which i definitely dont think was too bad at all!

The best thing i think is that you can log into instagram and scroll through all your pictures on there but you can also upload from facebook and your computer if you wanted to, which is what i did for a couple of the pictures i wanted on which i dont have on Instagram!

My case consists of pictures of me and my best friends, family and glasses of champagne. I love it so much! The only problem for me now is that even though i have had this for like 3 weeks, I have just recently got the Iphone 5! But i have already designed my Casetagram case for it as i seriously love them that much!

You can find the Casetagram website here.

What do you think? I possibly dont think i could ever want another case again! Unless i update them with current pictures.

New Look Wishlist

Hey lovelies!

New Look is a store i shop in pretty frequently and recently they have been making me smile in the fashion department!
This dress from AX Paris I think is simply stunning. It is so classy and elegant yet it is a teensy £40 which i think is such a bargain! I love the AX Paris brand, I think there is some gems to be had! This would be perfect for a prom or ball!

I think this Aztec Midi Dress is bang on trend for right now! It is stunning but unfortunately really dont think it would suit my figure which is such a shame! Its the right length so you wouldnt have to wear anything underneath such as tights/leggings and i think it would look amazing with a leather jacket thrown over the top! Oh and did i mention its only £14.99?!

I have wanted this khaki studded jacket from New Look forever! My best friend Carla has it and as much as i have tried to nab it from her it just isnt happening! I think the only think that has put me off purchasing so far is that i have a similar jacket from River Island with faux leather sleeves that i wear literally all the time! Probably time to take the plunge? I think so!

I am in love with peplum tops! Peplum plus a jewelled neckline is always a winner in my book and i love the fuchsia shade of this! I have hugeeee hips (definitely not an exaggeration i promise!) so they are probably the top i should stay away from the most but i think they just look so effortlessly chic with a pair of skinny jeans! This one comes in at £24.99!

Roll on pay day! Only 9 days to go!
xx
