Clinique Lipstick Runway Coral

Hello ladies,

Clinique recently added a new lipstick to their long last lipstick range in runway coral*. It is inspired by Cliniques new Global Colour Artist, Jenna Menard and her make up for the S/S12 Karen Walker show. Runway Coral is a limited edition vibrant, coral lipstick shade that is available to buy now.
This is the first Clinique lipstick or even make up product that i think i have ever tried so didnt really know what to expect however i found it extremely creamy and moisturising and it glided onto the lips with ease without feeling drying or sticky in the slightest.
It has good coverage and is opaque within one coat, stays put and doesnt feather or bleed. The texture is beautiful, gives a lovely sheen as well as lots of pigmentation to go along with it and is very long lasting. It is a stunning coral shade that i will most definitely get a lot of wear out of.

The lipstick packaging is a silver mirrored tube that is simple yet sleek and does the job.

Runway Coral is available to buy exclusively online and you can grab yours from here.

Clinique Long Last Lipsticks retail for £16.

What do you think of coral lipsticks? Perfect for Spring?

April Glossybox: The Natural Box

Hello lovelies,

Today i received my April Glossybox*. This months theme is 'The Natural Box' as this month is earth month so they have chosen products and packaging that are natural and the actual glossybox is biodegrabale, i personally think this is a great touch and i do love themed boxes!
♥ Caudalie Vinosource SOS Thirst Quenching Serum ♥
Caudalie is a brand that i have never used before but what i do know is that the blogging world has been going absolutely crazy for the Caudalie Beauty Elixir recently. This is a new launched product that is ultra concentrated and is plant based. It is a really thin serum that looks like water and is to be used before you apply your moistriser. This is a 10ml sample, with 30ml retailing for £29.
♥ Inika Cosmetics Certified Organic Eyeliner ♥
I was very excited to see a eyeliner in the box and one in black at that! This is shade 05 Black Caviar from Inika who sell natural skincare and cosmetics. Its a full size product that retails for £11.75.
♥ Monu Professional Skincare Moisture Rich Collagen Cream ♥
I have quite a few Monu products, mainly from glossyboxes and i really do enjoy using them so was super happy to see this peeping out of the box. It is a rich collagen cream that is suitable for dry or hydrated skin and helps smooth fine lines. This is a whopping 50ml sample size that retails for £17.50.
♥ Figs & Rouge Lip Balm ♥
I do love a lip balm! This is the Figs & Rouge Cherry & Vanilla lipbalm! Amazing right? & boy does it smell it! That is 100% pure, natural and organic. It is a multipurpose balm that can of course be used on lips but also other areas on the face and body too. It comes in a gorgeous vintage-esque tin that is super cute. A tin of Figs & Rouge lip balm retails for £3.29.
♥ Burts Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion ♥
Can you believe that i have never used any products from Burts Bees before? This is the milk and honey body lotion that again smells amazing and is 99% natural. A fab size 70g sample. Full size 190g sample retails for £9.99.
All in all, a fab box this month in my opinion that covers skincare and makeup nicely. I reckon the samples would retail around £50 so definitely worth the £10 investment (plus £2.95).

Did you get this month natural Glossybox? What are your thoughts?

New Sleek MakeUP Ultra Matte i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette V2 Darks

Hello again my loves,

Im on a roll today! Yesterday one of the new Sleek MakeUP Ultra Matte eyeshadow palettes popped through my letter box in V2 Darks.

Sleek MakeUP will be releasing two new eyeshadow palettes to their extensive range that include entire matte shades for the first time ever in one of their palettes. The two palettes are V1 Brights and V2 Darks.
Out of the two palettes i am thrilled that i received the Darks palette as i rarely wear bright eyeshadows. The V2 Darks palette includes 12 fully matte eyeshadow in neutral colours with a blue, purple and dark green added into the mix too.

As with most Sleek MakeUP Eyeshadow Palettes the shades are smooth and highly pigmented. Sleek MakeUP have changed the black casing of the eyeshadow palettes this time around for a more sleek, simple look which i really do like. They have also changed the actual eyeshadows so that they no longer have the waffle, criss-cross pattern which i must say i do prefer and there is now less fall out than there was previously.

This palette will be available to buy for £6.49.
Sleek MakeUPs Ultra Matte i-Divine Eyeshadow Palettes launch on the 9th May 2012 in Superdrug stores nationwide and online at sleekmakeup.com.

Will you be picking this up? What do you think of the shades?

Wishlist

Hello my loves,

I love doing and reading wishlist posts. There is always and i mean always something that i am lusting after or saving up to purchase so these posts are pretty easy for me really, i should probably get back into the habit of posting them more often! I also love reading things that others are wanting which in turn gives me inspiration and 9 times out of 10 leaves me adding something to my ever growing wish list.
♥ Mulberry Continental Wallet - £250 ♥
I do love a bit of Mulberry and had my eye on this purse for quite some time. I must admit though it isnt as lovely in real life as it looks online. It kind of has a slight, shiny patent look to it in the pictures but in real life it is more dull if you understand what i mean? I love the spring perfect colour and the rose gold accents though. Simply stunning!
As most of you probably know because i do keep banging on about it, I am going to America for 2 weeks in August. I do love a new pretty beach bag and i think this hits the spot for this years holiday. Perfect beach bag at not a bad price!
I do love trying a new foundation and this has been on the list for quite some time. Im not sure what has put me off trying it so far, i think it may be the light coverage that it offers which is a far cry from the foundations i usually reach for.
I have wanted this blush for so so long! I am absolutely loving Benefit at the minute! The Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation really does get a thumbs up from me and i have been using it on a daily basis! It gives such a gorgeous, healthy glow. I debated over this blush and Bella Bamba for a while and plumped for the latter but think i need this in my summer make up bag. Gorgeous!
Every summer, I purchase a good few pairs of sandals even though i have literally enough to see me through forever but i was drawn to these straight away! I think it was the studs, and the gorgeous tan colour! Zara is on fire at the moment, I am loving so much in there right now!

Whats on your wishlist? Anything you think i should desperately pick up? Im swaying towards the sandals!

New CID Cosmetics i-glow Coral Crush

Hello cupcakes,

I have always admired New CID Cosmetics from afar and recently acquired one of their i-glow shimmer compacts in Coral Crush*.
The New CID i-glow shimmer compacts are a domed mineralized marble powder similar to the MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes. Coral crush has swirls of peach, pink, gold and coral running through it in a swirled pattern. It is extremely pigmented, can be built up and layered as much as you would like and feels smooth and buttery soft to touch as it is baked.

It blends so beautifully and makes the most gorgeous blush. I dont think i could really put in words how stunning this is. It is shimmery, which is my favourite kind of blush as i very rarely tend to wear matte blushes, however it isnt glittery and gives a gorgeous glow to the face.
i-glow has light reflective particles for mimicking skins natural radiance and can either be used as a highlight or blush and would flatter and suit all skin tones i really do believe.

If you couldnt get your hands on stereo rose by MAC, i would suggest getting your hands on this. In the pan they dont like similar at all, with stereo rose looking much darker however they swatch almost identically.

The New CID Shimmer compact is available in 3 shades coral crush, ice pop (pink) and sirocco (golden bronze).

You can pick yours up now from hairtrade.com for £22.50 which is £1 more than the MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes however i think they are extremely similar and have the addition of a mirror which is a bonus and are available in more shades.

Have you ever tried i-glow or any other New CID products?

Dior Amber Diamond

Hello sweethearts,

Dior Amber Diamond is one of those products that i lusted after for months and months but in a way couldnt really justify the £32 price tag, however was thrilled when i received this for my birthday from my wonderful boyfriend (from my recommendation of course, hes not that good!)

Dior is a brand i own very little from make up wise, i do own a couple of pairs of sunglasses but this is my first cosmetic item but i class it is as a luxe, high end brand that is up their with the likes of Chanel.
It is a gorgeous highlighter, that actually markets itself as a all over face powder, although i find that it would be a tad too shimmery for all over the face. It is made up of five shades, from light to dark ranging from off white to peach.
I blogged recently about the Sleek MakeUP Glo which i do think is extremely comparable to the Dior Amber Diamond.

The compact is the standard Dior compact case that is a shiny, navy blue with Dior embossed in silver on the top. It is also housed in a snazzy blue velvet pouch too to keep any scratches at bay. It really does feel luxe and a high quality product. Inside is a huge mirror which and of course the product itself.

Size wise you receive 10g of product for your money which i think is pretty reasonable and to and to put it into context is the same as NARS Laguna Bronzer. As i stated above this highlighter retails for £32 so is pretty pricey in my humble opinion, but it has a gorgeous sheen and does really give a lovely glow.

Having said that, I didn't find it to be too overly pigmented and needed a little building up. The swatches were used with my finger that needed swiping over the compact a couple of times but a brush picks up the product much more easier. I must be honest and say i havent really reached for this highlighter as much as i probably should have and tend to opt more for the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in perfect topping.

I have heard that they are actually discontinuing Dior Amber Diamond however i am unsure of how true this is.

Mine was actually purchased from Escentual which at £30.50 is a little cheaper than other retailers, and they also offer free shipping over £30 too and it arrived incredibly quickly. Other places you can buy it from are Debenhams and Selfridges.

I really do like this product but i dont think that this is a necessity in your make up bags by any means at all and it is something you can live without or find a cheaper alternative of.  However i am a sucker for pretty, expensive products and when i hear the word 'discontinued' i seem to want things a whole lot more. Just me? Didnt think so!

Have you tried Dior Amber Diamond? What do you think of it?

Review: Liz Earle Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash

Hello sweets,

The Liz Earle Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash* has been my body wash of the moment and my recent 'go-to'.
As with all Liz Earle products it contains naturally active ingredients including organic oats and yarrow, rose-scented geranium and natural vitamin e.

As the name suggests, the scent is orange flower so smells exactly as you would expect and has a gorgeous citrus aroma that has a hint of rose and lavender - the latter been a scent i can smell quite strongly. I find that the scent lingers ever so slightly on the skin even when out of the shower but not as strong as when first applied, which i personally like.
It is quite thick in consistency and is a clear gel body wash that foams up well even though it doesnt contain any lauryl/laureth sulphates and leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and cleansed.

Prices start from £5 for a 30ml travel size tube with the 200ml bottle (as pictures) retails for £11.50.

It is suitable for all skin types and because it is so gentle it can be used daily. I think it would be perfect for sensitive skin as it is just so soft and gentle. I didn't find it to irritate my skin or find it harsh in any way at all.

The Liz Earle Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash is available to buy in John Lewis, Liz Earle Stores and on the Liz Earle website here.

How do you rate Liz Earle products? Is this a product you have used before?
