I seriously cant believe im sat here writing my May favourites! Where on earth has the past year gone never mind past month! Its crazy how quickly the days are flying by!
Even though this is probably one of my biggest favorites posts to date, I feel like i have been stuck in a little bit of a rut make up wise recently and i think most things in my favourites today i have already shown you before, only a couple of newbies im afraid! I really do feel that i need to start branching out more and get out of my current make up comfort zone!
Yardley London have recently released their new fragrance named Royal Diamond. I have seen Yardley in a few Boots stores before but never really had a proper look, although now i cant see why not! This is a gorgeous perfume and probably deserves a whole post of its own! It has heart notes of Rose, Peony & Lily of the valley so extremely floral but also has a soft, woody and vanilla base so it isnt too sweet and girly. The bottle is simple and it comes in a 50ml size. The biggest thing i was absolutely shocked about is the price as this retails for £9.99 but i must admit the scent really doesnt match the price and i dont find it cheap smelling in the slightest. A perfect day fragrance that is Jubilee appropriate! It is currently available on the Yardley website for £7.49.
♥ MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation ♥
I must admit i dont really wear this on a daily basis because as it is NC20 it is a little too dark for me however as we have had a little bit of sun in the UK i have recently been able to get away with it. I keep it primarily for nights out and i really do love the coverage that it gives and how flawless it looks on the skin.
I blogged a little bit about the Lily Cole Body Shop Make Up Collab Here and was sent a couple of products from the range. One that stands out and that i have been using frequently is the Pearl Radiance Primer that i have found to be a really lovely product. It smells wonderful and as the name suggests has slight shimmer in so makes your face glow and looks lovely and radiant under foundation.
♥ Benefit Bad Gal Lash ♥
I got this a couple of days ago as a freebie with Glamour magazine however i have used it any times in the past and this has just reignited my love for it! It really is one of the best mascaras i have used, ive even converted my Mum! I love the big brush and the fact that its not so wet or clumpy!
♥ MAC Giggly Mineralize Blush ♥
I think ive mentioned a few times before but the mineralize blushes from MAC are one of my favourite products of theirs. I find that they are so much nicer than the normal powder blushes be it matte or shimmer. Giggly came out with the quite cute collection way way back and i blogged about it here. Its perfect for everyday but i much prefer to wear it layered over my Illamasqua cream blush in promise.
♥ Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Eyeshadow ♥
Again another prodct that ive blogged about before is the Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in the shade Emerveille which is a beautiful shimmery peach. Every day i wear neutral eyeshadows or eye products and usually this comes in the form of a golden, peach shade so Emerveille is perfect for me! Pretty pricey at £23.50 but i do use it quite sparingly! A summer must have in my opinion!
♥ Sleek MakeUP Brow Kit ♥
Yep you know what im going to say! I did a whole blog post on the Sleek MakeUP Brow Kit here. Since my Cosmetics A La Carte brow pen run out this is the only thing that i have used to fill my brows in. The shade is pretty perfect for my brows, maybe a tad light? But i think its a nifty little kit and paired with my Sigma Angled Eyeliner brush its a match made in heaven!
♥ Liz Earle Powder Brush ♥
I posted about this brush here yesterday and it is my favourite brush of the moment! I have quite a few powder brushes however this is the one i reach for most frequently! It is extremely soft and cruelty free with a price of only £20 which i find amazing! I do really love all the products i have tried from the Liz Earle colour collection!
So thats the products i have been loving in the month of May! Have you tried any of these products or wanting to? Let me know!
