April Favourites

Hello lovelies,

I havent done a favourites post in such a long time! The only explanation i have this is that i am currently stuck in a bit of a make up rut and have been continuously using the same make up products and not really mixing it up as much as i should.

However, I have a few little gems that have formed a stable part of my make up routine that i havent really showed you before so that i would share this months favourites with you.
♥ Illamasqua Matte Primer ♥
I recently purchased the Illamasqua matte primer from a blog sale and i am planning on doing a full blog post on this beauty. Im not really one for matte skin or foundations but as i have quite oily skin this kind of counteracts that and leaves my foundation looking slightly dewy without going oily which i really like.
♥ Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation ♥

I did more of a review on this foundation in this blog post along with details on the bloggers event i went to. However, as you can see i think the proof is in the amount i have used i have really enjoyed using this foundation and have been reaching for it daily. I wear the palest shade Ivory 'Believe In Me' which is a good match for my skin tone. It leaves skin looking radiant and glowing so i use a powder to set it. It gives good medium coverage and i will most definitely repurchase when i have run out.
♥ Illamasqua 'Rude' Cream Blusher ♥
I have already showcased Illamasqua rude cream blush when i did this blog post on my Illamasqua cream blush collection. Although it isnt my most used cream blush (that is illamasqua promise which again you probably know because i dont really stop banging on about it - i thought i would give rude a chance to shine!) i do still really enjoy using this and it looks stunning with the New CID i-glow in Coral Crush over the top. Gorgeous shade and hands down the best ever cream blushes i have used, this is a perfect summer colour!
♥ Loreal Liquid Super Liner* ♥
I blogged about the Loreal Super Liner here and it is no exaggeration when i say i have been using this every single day since i bought it! I have even converted my friends to how amazing this is! It makes applying liquid eyeliner super easy and i fully intend to repurchase this when it runs out!
♥ YSL Shocking Mascara* ♥
I briefly blogged about the YSL shocking mascara in this blog post however i am yet to do a full review on it so if you would like one then please let me know. I find this quite clumpy when you apply more than one coat so i try to stick to one maximum. However, it coats lashes nicely and lengthens and thickens them. It has a gorgeous smell that i cant really put my finger on but it smells nice and fruity and lingers.
♥ MAC Bare Study Paint Pot ♥
It will probably come to no surprise that i am in love with MAC paint pots, for me they are the ultimate perfect eyeshadow bases that intensify eyeshadow shades and prevent them from creasing. I have an array of colours (all neutral - you know me!) and i have been loving popping a swipe of bare study all over my lid under a equally neutral eyeshadow such as MAC all that glitters or naked lunch.
♥ MAC Honesty Eyeshadow Pan ♥
Talking of MAC Bare Study paint pot, this is a perfect partner for applying over the top. I recently aquired MAC honesty eyeshadow from a blog sale and i dont really know how i ever bypassed it before as it is a stunning neutral shade and fits in lovely with the colours i already own.

What are your favourites this month? I have a few products that i am wanting to purchase and try out so hopefully i will have some new favourites soon!
xx

  5. The cream blush looks so shocking in the pan but I can imagine that it looks like a really healthy glow of colour on the cheeks. It was also interesting to know that the YSL mascara goes clumpy... x
