If you can stretch your mind back you may remember that last year i did this post on the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Intensive Daily Moisturiser and one thing that i loved about it was actually the strong, medicinal scent that it had although i do realise i was probably in the minority as i dont think a lot of people favored it however they have now brought out a fragrance free version!
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant Original* and Fragrance Free*.
8 Hour Cream was actually created 82 years ago and now is the only time that the formulation has ever changed. It offers the benefits of the original 8 Hour Cream without the scent that may have put some people off. Worldwide, one tube of this is sold every 30 seconds, with 1 selling every 2 minutes in the UK alone.
It is a cult favourite and a beauty must have, winning over 40 global beauty awards. 8 Hour cream is a multi-tasker and like the original works on cracked lips, dry elbows, cuticles, insect bites or for even adding a sheen to lips and lashes.
I mainly use the 8 hour cream for dry patches such as knees and elbows and also on my lips.
The original and fragrance free are exactly the same in consistency except the fragrance free doesn't have the strong scent however it does smell ever so slightly slightly and has a slight cocoa, Shea butter scent that is lovely.
The difference between the original and the new fragrance free version is that it also has a silver tube that is adorned with the 8 pattern across the tube and has a red lid, making it more distinctive than the original. The caps are also slightly different too, the original has a flip cap whereas the fragrance free has a screw on lid.
The fragrance free version would be perfect for those that have been put off the original and it now caters for everyone.
The NEW Eight Hour Cream Protectant Fragrance Free and also the original Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant retail for £25.00 for a 50ml tube.
Available to buy from Elizabeth Arden Counters Nationwide and also online at places like Boots.
