A bit of a belated post on the Valentines Glossybox i do apologise, but i was away over the weekend and i have been super poorly!
After i caught wind of a super hot pink Valentines special for this months Glossybox i actually signed myself up right away! I then also received a box for review from Glossybox also so the box i am reviewing is the one i was sent (& most of the products i received in the one i purchased have been given to my mum!)
As i suggested above, this months box is a super bright pink which i really think they should adapt for future boxes as i think this is just gorgeous, i actually love it! Inside i was greeted with a pink heart shaped sticker and pale pink shredded paper goodness!
I always cant help myself and read the booklet of products before having a peep myself! After receiving my own box previous to this one, I was extremely happy that i had received different products! The first thing that stood out to me was the mini Orly polish in a colour that was much appropriate for the Valentines theme!
Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner in Plum
Fab Gentle Body Wash
Orly Mini Nail Lacquer in Ruby
Murad Skin Perfecting Primer
Weleda One Step Cleanser & Toner
I definitely dont think this is the best box this month product wise and i wasnt overly 'wowed' by any of the products, but that is just my personal opinion and i think the colour of the box made up for that. That been said, the box is definitely worth the money paid in terms of value as the Orly nail lacquer retails for £5 and the Eyeko skinny eyeliners are £9.50. I will definitely be popping the ruby nail polish on around valentines day & i am looking forward to giving the Murad primer a try! The Eyeko skinny liner isnt really a colour that i would use myself so may pass that on to a friend.
I also love the added touch of the Glossybox sweet, i think this fits the theme of the box perfectly!
