MAC Wonder Woman Collection Haul & Swatches

Hello lovelies!

If you remember, on Thursday i posted this blog post about the MAC Wonder Woman collection being realised exclusively at Selfridges. I woke up bright and early to place my order and i whittled it down to 3 things as i originally wanted 6!

To my complete and utter surprise, my order arrived the next day! I knew that delivery was pretty pricey at £4.95, especially when it said my estimated date for delivery was the 24th February! So i was extremely pleased when i arrived home from meeting the gorgeous Charlotte and Summer in Leeds that my order was waiting for me!

Anyway, onto the goods...

♥ Pink Power Mineralize Skinfinish ♥

♥ Mighty Aphrodite Blush Duo ♥

♥ Marquis D' Lipstick♥

♥ First Thoughts ♥

I LOVE absolutely everything!

The Mineralize Skinfinish is amazing! Its massive, i love the packaging and think i will get lots of wear out of the three colours as a highlight, blush and bronzer. I am a bit gutted that i missed out on getting the other one although i am sure i will pick this up when it comes out online at MAC.

The blush is a gorgeous shade of peach, which i don't own enough of so i am glad that i own this. It has a handy mirror in the compact too which is always a bonus!

The lipstick i have wanted since i saw it was released with Blonde, Brunette, Redhead. Again a gorgeous peach with a slight hint of shimmer that will be perfect for spring/summer.

Very happy with all of my purchases & i cant wait to get some more when it is released online at MAC on the 3rd of March!

Did you get anything from this collection?

A Night With Jason Derulo & Meeting Shontelle!

Happy Sunday Lovelies!

If you follow me on Twitter you will probably know that last night i went to see Jason Derulo for the second time at the 02 Academy in Leeds, the show, as always was amazing! I have been a very big fan of Jason Derulo from the beginning and he didn't disapoint! A even bigger treat was that the gorgeous Shontelle was supporting!

The show was packed and we were upstairs on the balcony, after Shontelle finished her set to my surpise she came upstairs onto the balcony and was literally stood only metres away! Not one to miss a opportunity i wandered over to her and asked is she minded me having a picture with her, as a fan girl i told her how amazing she was and she gave me a hug :) and told me to enjoy the show! I was literally smiling from ear to ear!

The night was amazing, even better than expected & i wanted to share a few pictures with you!

♥ Blurry picture of me & the mister♥

♥ Mr Derulo ♥
♥ Another one of the man himself ♥
♥ Meeting the gorgeous Shontelle - Best night ever! ♥

I will leave you with my favourite Shontelle song if you're not familiar with her :)

How have you spent your weekends sweeties?

Will You Be My Valentine?

Happy Valentines Day Lovers!

Hope you all have a fantastic day, whatever you do! My night will consist of a Chinese takeaway, some wine & feasting on the biscuits i made for the other half this afternoon!

I followed the gorgeous Milly's recipe for her gorgeous sweetheart biscuits which can be found here - She has been a great help and has been answering my questions all afternoon so thank you so much for your help Milly! I doubled the ingredients because i had a feeling that my Mum, Brother & Sister would all want in on the biscuit action!

I do love cooking and baking but by no means am i any good at it and as this was my first time making the biscuits i am quite happy with the outcome, although they are not a patch on Milly's fine baking skills!

Unfortunately i do not have any heart shaped cutters (Need to add them to the shopping list!) so  i had to settle for round shaped biscuits instead!

I decorated with pink icing sugar (& a spoon - i do really need to invest in a piping bag!) and different goodies to decorate including pink glitter, pink & white sugar bobbles and also multi coloured stars :)

As i said i doubled the ingredients and turned out with a whopping 38 biscuits! The family will be pleased! I have been slaving away in the kitchen for the best part of all day!

Heres the outcome...

Far from perfect but they do taste amazing!

What are you doing this Valentines?

Hope you all have a lovely day

Sleek MakeUP's Primer Palette & Swatches

Hello sweethearts,

Happy Saturday - I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far!

Today we have another new addition from Sleek MakeUP is the i-Divine: Primer Palette.

What Sleek MakeUP Say:

'Take you eye-shadow to new levels of intensity with Sleek MakeUP's new wonder product: i-Divine: Primer Palette. Specially designed to work with your current collection of eye-shadows, it has become a make-up artists secret weapon to powerful colour that lasts all day long.
The different coloured eye primer palette will ensure your eyes have the perfect base for amazing colour, whether it is bold blues, creamy champagnes or slick silvers your make-up routine will change forever after just one application.

The long lasting formula of Sleek MakeUP's i-Divine Primer Palette is like no other eye-shadow base. Each of the 12 creamy shades is highly pigmented to breathe a new lease of life into your existing eye make up. Opt to trend-led block colours or experiment by mixing two shades together. The super smooth texture glides on to  the eyelides effortlessly without creasing, making it the perfect base for your favourite shade.

Apply make-up like a pro by using the soft brush included. Sweep your chosen shade and apply to the eyelids. Immediately apply your chosen eye-shadow for an impressive colour that will last'.

I actually first saw this primer palette at IMATS and the stand was that hectic that i didn't bother to purchase but afterwards i was a bit disappointed with myself that i didn't! So i am very happy to now have it in my possession!

I have seen other blog posts & swatches of this palette that have said the palette comes with colour names although mine doesn't, so unfortunately i cant give you any colour names!

♥ Swatches ♥
♥ My Initial Thoughts ♥

The colours are creamy and well pigmented. I especially love the colours in the bottom role as they are more neutral and wearable for me, i love the shimmery peach, gold and brown colours which i think i will get a lot of wear from.

The Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Primer Palette launces in Superdrug and on the Sleek MakeUP Website on the 16th February and will retail at £6.99.

Will you be picking up the Sleek MakeUP Primer Palette?

Book Geek

Hello lovelies,

Happy Thursday!

I must admit that i'm not much of a reader, I usually go as far as a magazine or two but have never been a lover of books. I have always been a massive fan of Laguna Beach & The Hills and Lauren Conrad is definitely a inspiration and style icon to me, so it was inevitable that i would pick up some of her books.

So ladies, I present to you some of the books i have been loving recently by the one and only Miss Conrad herself:

♥ L.A Candy ♥
♥ Sweet Little Lies: An L.A Candy Novel ♥
♥ Sugar and Spice: An L.A Candy Novel ♥
♥ Lauren Conrad: Style ♥

These little beauties are currently looking gorgeous on my shelf when not in use.

I would highly recommend picking them up if you love girly books, mine are from amazon for a few pounds each with free delivery.

Do you own any of the Lauren Conrad books?

The Stiletto Collection By Sleek MakeUP

Afternoon lovely ladies,

This morning i received a couple of new offerings from Sleek Make Up which i do believe are limited edition and absolutely perfect for valentines day!

I present to you the Stiletto Collection!

♥ Sleek MakeUP Blush - Scandalous £4.29 ♥

'Red Hot Blush - Scandalous is created specially to set tongues wagging. The ultra high pigmented colour gives a shot of red to the cheeks. Add dramatic angels with its intense colour or opt for a light dusting for the natural 'flushed' look.

This definitely looks like a dupe of the Nars Exhibit A blush but for of course a fraction of the price. I will be using this only lightly for a nice flush of colour. Like the other blushes in the collection this is highly pigmented and a little goes a long way.

♥ Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish - Scandal £4.29 ♥

'To join the Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish Family for a limited time only is scandal. Just like the Blush Scandalous, the tinted lip balm gives a powerful pigment to your Valentines Day look. like all pout polishes, Scandal contains shea butter, sweet almond and advocado oil and has a high protection of SPF 15 to ensure its as kind to the lips as its seducing to the eyes! Wear on its own or on top of a matt lipstick for an intense colour and shine without the sticky feeling'.

I am a big fan of the Sleek MakeUP pout polishes anyway, especially Pink Cadillac and this is definitely not an exception to the rule. Its gorgeous, a well pigmented, glossy red which can be built up and intensified to a bright red glossy finish.

♥ Swatches ♥

The Stilletto Collection is in Superdrug stores now until 16th February 2011.

Also in the collection is a gorgeous red nail polish called Geisha's Seal - i think i may need this for my collection also!

Will you be picking up any of the Sleek MakeUP Stiletto Collection this Valentines Day?

Jelly Pong Pong Products

Afternoon sugarplums,

Happy Monday!

Before Christmas, I had the opportunity to road test some Jelly Pong Pong products which I am going to give a round up on today.
    ♥ The Muffin & Meringue Set ♥

This was one of my favourite products that i was sent. This gorgeous box consists of a Cherry Meringue Lipgloss which is a sheer red and a muffin Lipgloss which is sheer pink. They both smell exactly as the name suggests and the cherry is my favourite, it smells lovely! You can buy this set from here for £18.

♥ The Shoe Palette in 'Vertical Stiletto ♥

The creamy eyeshadow and lipgloss in the shoe palette is gorgeously packaged and easily transportable. Although the lip jelly didnt work for me as it was slightly too sticky/glittery for my liking i loved the creamy eyeshadow which was quite dry and glided on my eyelid easily. With a primer underneath there is minimal creasing and it looks amazing on its own. This is available to buy from here for £10.

♥ Venus Magical Pearls in 'Aurora' ♥

Again this is gorgeously packaged and is a multi purpose product. You can swirl your finger into the venus pearls and use them as a face highlight or you can crush the individual pearls and use them as a eyeshadow. As i am more of a neutral girl this colour wasnt really my cup of tea however there are 5 colours to chose from and i absolutely love the look of Goddess Skin which is a gorgeous bronze. You can buy this product from here for £15.

♥ Soap Popsicle - Flight of Fancy ♥

This was one of my other favorite products! This smells & looks AMAZING! I want them all! It would make such a cute present for a fellow girly girl! I love how its packaged with the cute pink bow & the butterflies inside the soap.  It definitely looks too good to use! You can buy the Soap Popsicles (which come in 8 different designs) from here for £7.

    ♥ Crystallizer ♥

There is a colour for everyone in the crystallizer and the colours can be used on face, body or hair. I loved the lighest shade white crystal which is a gorgeous peach for a face and eyebrow highlight. These would make lovely, shimmery eyeshadows or can be used mixed altogether for an allover glow. These are available from here for £15.

Have you ever tried Jelly Pong Pong products?

    What are your thoughts?
