Review: Tangle Teezer

Good morning honeys!

After debating on Twitter the other night whether or not people rated the Tangle Teezer as i very nearly picked one up in Boots that day, they got in touch and offered to send me one!

I received the 'Tangerine Scream' version which is bright orange and a limited edition version! The standard Tangle Teezer is bright pink which also looks amazing!
'A Tangle Teezer hair brush will break the cycle of broken hair and give tangled hair the brush off. A revolution in detangling hair, it has the ability to flex and not pull upon contact with tangles, gently and effortlessly delivering smooth and shiny hair in an instant'

Personally I love the shape, size and look of this massive plastic brush! Its shiny and bright orange with the Tangle Teezer logo emblazoned on the top. It is shaped to fit your hand so is held easily and i like that it doesnt have a handle as you feel more 'hands on'. It has long and short bristles that dont feel sharp when brushing, if anything they give a nice scalp massage! The Tangle Teezer gently glides through your hair with no pulling or tugging at all and leaves hair soft, shiny and knot free.

Overall i think its a great product at a reasonable price, it is a hairbrush, detangler and head massager all in one and cant see why it wouldnt last a while as because its plastic can also be easily cleaned!

Im also looking forward to using this in the shower with a deep conditioning treatment so i can disperse the product evenly all over my head.

This particular Tangle Teezer retails for £10.20 and can be purchased from Boots.com which currently have a 3 for 2 on haircare.

There is also a miniature, compact Tangle Teezer which would be perfect for carrying around in your handbag!

  4. Great review and pics. I ADORE my Tangle Teaser. I have a pale blue one and I genuinely get quite upset on mornings when I cannot find my TT and have to use some inferior brush! xx

  10. I love my tangle teezer, I had a black one for nearly 5 years before I had to replace it so they're pretty long lasting! I'd probably never get a different hair brush as long as they keep making them! X

  22. I have one of these, It helps with smoothing down my fro. the only problem is it can sometimes create split ends. Another option it the ouidad double detangler I think it's called.
