Hello my darlings!
I have been a fan of dry shampoos for a few years now (I started off using the Lee Stafford ones before they realeased the fancy coloured ones! As i thought they smelt amazing!) But this was long before i discovered the much cheaper, alternative in Batiste!
Batistes latest dry shampoo release is the XXL Volume dry shampoo for big and bouncy hair. It is now housed in a large 200ml can (which is taking over from the original 150ml cans) and has a nice pink swirly design on the can. There is also a 400ml size can which i bet is huge(!) and i need to get my hands on this!
My hair is quite flat and lacks volume so this is certainly a fab product and gets a thumbs up from me. When i first used this i seemed to forget that it was a dry shampoo as will as a boosting spray and sprayed it far too near the roots leaving me forever trying to rub the white patches out! Once i finally got the hand of it (& sprayed from 30cm away - not that i measured!) onto my roots, i used my finger tips to rub in the dry shampoo and volumise my hair.
It definitely did give my hair volume and it is a nice addition to the normal dry shampoo and still does the job of banishing oily roots! I would love to see this in the coloured version which would be perfect for us darker haired ladies!
The 200ml Batiste XXL Volume dry shampoo is available from boots and superdrug and retails at £3.99 for 200ml.
