Illamasqua Body Electrics Collection SS10

Hi girlies,

As you may or may not know Illamasqua have realised a new Spring summer collection for 2010 called 'Body Electrics'.

Basically it is the first collection of make-up for the whole body from Illamasqua.

Illamasqua say:
'The collection is an anthology of creams, powders and dry body oils infused with light, shimmer and shine, designed to highlight and contour your whole body. Containing hyper-pigmented light-reflecting particles that ignite the skin with intense colours and finishes, each product in the range has been created to accentuate every movement and take body make-up to a whole new level'.

The collection ranges from a number of different products, including bronzers, body oils, liquid metals and gorgeous new nail varnishes.

Illamasqua is a brand that i own a few products from already & i absolutely love it! There products are so pigmented especially the lipsticks & blushes - which are gorgeous & i highly recommend you investing in! So much so it is quicky becoming my all time favourite make up brand! (Sorry MAC!)

The Illamasqua Body Electrics blogger event was unfortunately cancelled so the wonderful people at Illamasqua sent everyone who was meant to be attending some products from the new range.

Heres what i received...

♥ Kabuki Brush ♥

♥ Bronzer in Burnish - A gorgeous, shimmery, golden bronzer.
♥ Bronzer in Writhe - Gorgeous deep plummy, bronzer, love bronzers and this is perfect!
♥ Kabuki brush - I cannot express my love for this brush enough! It is HUGE! The biggest kabuki brush i have ever come across! It is so soft & i already know this will become one of my staple brushes! I love this lots!

I was so happy to receive all the products i did! I love brushes, & have accumilated quite a few Illamasqua brushes already & im glad i now have the kabuki in my collection! Although, I am now lusting after Jo'Mina which is a gorgeous vibrant purple nail varnish!

My Current Perfume Collection ♥

Hi girliepops, Hope you are all okay!

I love perfume, im sure most girlies do & i wouldnt say i have a huge collection but a few bottles of sweet smelling loveliness that i thought i would show you all!

My favourite blog posts to read (along with OOTD's) are collection posts, it doesnt matter what collection, skin care, nail polish, make up, perfume any collection really! Im just a nosey girl! hehe!

Anyway, onto my perfumes! They range from super cheap to a little bit more expensive!

♥ Givenchy 'Very Irresistible' - Love this, as you can see my big bottle has nearly finished! ♥
♥ Britney Spears 'Fantasy' - I am quite partial to the Britney perfumes (yes, even though i am 21!) Love the scent of this ♥
♥ Kylie Minogue 'Darling' - All of Kylies perfumes smell amazing, this is super cheap & such a gorgeous scent ♥
♥ Hillary Duff 'With Love' - Smells lovely & is really long lasting! (Says my mum who is quite partial to using this! lots!) ♥
♥ Dior 'Addict 2 Summer' - I LOVE Dior Addict 2 but it is highly expensive, the summer version is the cheaper younger sister which smells just like the original & it is one of my faves! ♥

♥ Versace 'Bright Crystal' - One of my little more expensive perfumes, which has nearly ran out, boo :( ♥
♥ Kylie Minogue 'Showtime' - Super sweet perfume, may be too sweet for some but i personally love this! ♥
♥ Anna Sui 'Dolly Girl Lil Starlet' - I love all variations of the dolly girl perfumes & again this lives up to the original! ♥
♥ Hugo Boss 'Femme' - Gorgeous scent, should really use this more! ♥
♥ Gucci 'Eau De Parfum II' - This has to be my all time favourite perfume, smells amazing but quite expensive so a night time only fragrance ;) ♥

My March Favourites ♥

Hi Girlies, Hope you are all okay & well!

I havent done a favourites in a while & i absolutely love doing them!

So here is the products i loved using and mostly reached for in the month of March!

I have tried to choose one of each make up product & then thrown in a skin-care product for good measure! :)

♥ Max Factor Lash Extension Effect Mascara ♥

♥ Laguna Bronzer - Gives such a gorgeous, bronze glow, with a slight bit of shimmer! Love this & doesnt make you look 'muddy' like some bronzer can do on my super pale skin ♥
♥ Viva Glam GaGa - As you all know this is now my all time favourite lipstick & has been what i have reached for all throughout March, either a subtle swipe for daytime or a heavier application for bright, bubblegum lips on a night time ♥
♥ Nymph Blush - The perfect, pale pink blush! Leaves a gorgeous subtle, pink glow on the apples of my cheeks, I love illamasqua blushes, so pigmented! ♥

♥ Cleanse & Polish - I reach for this product every day! I love how clean it leaves my face, & cleanses & exfoliates in one! I highly recommend this! ♥
♥ Studio Fix fluid - I cannot tell you how many foundations i have bought in the past month, photoready, healthy mix, Nars sheer glow the list goes on! But nothing comes close to my good old studio fix, i have come to the realisation i do love a heavier foundation and this gives a coverage which i love! ♥
♥ Lash extension effect mascara - This is an amazing mascara, it has a really long wand so you can get into your inner corner lashes, i love it! Makes my lashes super long & i have used this everyday for the past few weeks! ♥

MAC Liberty Of London & Prep For Colour Haul & Swatches

Hi girlies,

Yesturday i did lots of shopping in Leeds with my gorgeous friend Steph, i had such a lovely time with her & it was amazing finally meeting her! We did lots of shopping which was followed by lots of cocktails! I had a fabulous time!


Obviously we hit MAC, which you would expect! & the new collection was out so we had a little lookie at that! Here are the things i picked up!
