I Love-Makeup ♥

Today i received my online order from Love-Makeup, I ordered on Monday night & it came Tuesday morning so i was very impressed & wasnt expecting it at all!

I only purchased two little things so here they are :)

♥ MAC 'Fashion Frenzy' Blush from Fafi
♥ MAC 'Colour crafted' Lipstick from the colour craft collection
♥ A sample of Anna Sui perfume in 'Oh la love'
The items were a little over retail, with the blush been £16.99 and the Lipstick been £14.99 which i dont really mind paying as they are both sold out, limited edition items.
The blush is gorgeous, such a bright, vibrant pink & colour crafted lipstick is a back up of one i already own. This is one of my favourite lipsticks but as it is limited edition i have been using it sparingly until i came across it on this website. It will now e my go-to lipstick :)
Delivery cost £2.95 and i would highly recommend ordering from love-makeup!

Space NK & Sonia Kashuk Brushes

Last week i finally received my Sonia Kashuk brushes from Space NK after waiting over a week for them to come. You have probably seen many posts on then as they have been quite popular with the eauty bloggers as Space NK had an amazing 70% sale on the Sonia Kashuk range and had a huge amount of brushes to choose from!
I think that £5 postage was extortionate for standard delivery which took 8 days to receieve, and this cost more than most of the brushes cost me!
Onto the brushes, i decided on 5, the ones i picked up were:
♥ Flat Top Brush £4.75
♥ Contour Brush £5.50
♥ Foundation Brush £5.00
♥ Large Eyeshadow Brush £4.50
♥ Crease brush £3.75
So overall these brushes were amazing value, and with delivery cost £28.
My definite favourite is the flat top brush, and i have been eyeing this up for quite a while. I think that it will be perfect for my MSF Natural although it is quite small.
The crease brush is the perfect size & density & will be perfect for what its made for - eyeshadow in the crease! :)
The foundation brush & contour brush are so much smaller than expected! So will take a little more getting used to!
I love the designs of these brushes, think they are very sleek & professional brushes and will be good for every day use.
Overall i am extremely happy, but will not be rushing to order from Space NK online again!

Have you ever used Space NK online? What are your thoughts?

My OPI Purchases & Mod About You NOTD :)

I ordered a couple of OPI nail polishes from ebay over Christmas, and they came last week. The seller is 'joliebeautystore' if your interested! The price for 3 came to £15 which included shipping which i thought was an amazing deal! I was so impressed that i ordered some more the day that i received these!

Here are the colours i got:

♥ You Dont Know Jacques
♥ Mod About You
♥ My Private Jet

I am currently sporting Mod About You, it is an absolute gorgeous colour & true to the colour that is in the bottle. The consistency is quite thick and one coat would have been enough if the colour had been opaque. However i used two coats, and the colour still isnt quite opaque so colour wise could have done with another!
I cant wait to try the others! :)

What are your favourite OPI polishes girlies?

Review: Lush 'Big' Shampoo

I know that there are a few reviews on this already in the beauty blogging community but after using it for the first time, i thought i would give my say on this product!

Price: £9.90 for 330g

What lush say about 'big': Sea salt shampoo for shine, softness and volume. Big is 50% salt. It looks like semolina and smells like a margarita with lemon, lime and salt, with a handful of vanilla and iris thrown in. Whenever you use it, you'll rush up to strangers, inviting them to feel your lovely soft hair. How does it work? It has a softening seaweed infusion, as well as sea salt and coconut oil, so we knew it was going to be good. But we even surprised ourselves when we tested the first batch on ourselves and found how brilliant it was'

I bought this product just after christmas whilst the 'sales' were on in lush but after hearing such good things about it i had been eyeing it up for a while. I thought as it was 'spend £20 get free goodies' i went ahead and picked it up.

Lush doesnt give much away about this product and i was intrigued to use it, but before i did had to check with a few girlies on twitter whether or not to use conditioner afterwards!

I must admit i was a little skeptical about using a product on my hair that is made fom 50% sea salt!

The reviews id read wernt that this product made your hair 'big' but how shiny it was!

I applied quite a lot as i have quite long, really thick hair and rubbed it all over my head, at first it didnt really seem like it was doing much so i added a little more and then it really lathered up.

After a few minutes i rinsed out and conditioned my hair using my normal conditioner, which is the loreal elvive one in the pink bottle.

I didnt use any styling products afterwards and apart from my fringe i left my hair to dry naturally.

Normally when its left to dry naturally my hair will go really wavy, but it didnt it dried quite straight and SUPER shiny! I was so impressed, it felt so silky and shiny!

I would highly recommend this product, i know that some people may find it pricey but its quite a big pot you get and you dont need to use a big amount each time. I would also use this quite sparingly, maybe once or twice a week as i have read that it can be quite stripping on hair colour.

Overall i am extremely happy, glad i took the plunge in purchasing and if you want super shiny hair then this product is for you! Would recommend to anyone!

Barry M: New Product Alert

Barry M are soon to be releasing a new product to their ever growing make up brand & this time its the Lip Laquer Crayons. Which literally just look like giant crayons, but for your lips!

They are going to be available in a range of 5 colours:

1. Scarlett Red
2. Cherry Red
3. Mandarin
4. Party Pink
5. Ballet Pink

I definitely like the sound of party & ballet pink! Party pink is quite a dark, bright pink whilst ballet pink is a lighter, baby pink! Sound fabulous!

Barry M says that 'These intense glossy crayons glide on to lips to give a high shine lacquered finish. The smooth and silky application provides maximum comfort while the bright and bold colours give a glamorous finish.'

They retail for £4.95

You can get them from
Barry M now or they will be available in Superdrug from the 27th January!

What are your overall thoughts of this product and will you be buying?

My 5 Favourite Brushes

Hi Girlies,
I hope everyone is okay and enjoying the snow! :)
I thought i would do my 5 favourite brushes as i absolutely love brushes, and as some people say 'an artist is only as good as his tools'! Which i think is pretty true, make up can look so different with the use of good brushes!

I can remember when i first started my blog that the only brushes i owned were a few body shop, some ELF & a set of GOSH brushes, but i am happy to say that i have since branched out and most of my brushes are now MAC! Although i didnt own any when i started blogging!

I think the quality of MAC brushes are absolutely amazing and go back to these day in and day out! Therefore my 5 fave brushes are all from MAC! I know they can be quite expensive but i truely believe they are worth it and will last me a long time to come!

1. MAC 239 Eyeshadow brush - Perfect brush for packing on eyeshadow all over the lid, its really soft and dense

2. MAC 219 Pencil brush - i love this brush, its perfect for adding colour into the crease on top of a lid colour, i would highly recommend this brush, i wouldnt be able to live without it!

3. MAC 116 Blush brush - i love the size of this brush & works perfectly to add blush to the apples of the cheeks

4. MAC 138 Tapered face brush - one of my most recent brush purchases is the MAC 138 which i love, such a big brush thats tapered at the top so perfect for bronzer and because its tapered, easy to buff in

5. MAC 187 Duo fibre brush - such a versatile brush that can be used for foundation, powder, bronzer & blush - i love it! Mainly use it to stipple on & buff in liquid foundation which leaves a lovely finish!

Which brushes do you love & would recommend?

Review: Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar

I used the Lush 'Creamy candy' Bubble Bar on New Years Eve before i was due to go out, i had a nice long soak before having a shower! :)
What lush says about this product...

'Sweet, frothy and fluffy bubbles that smell like custard creams. What a delight it is to have a bath in the equivalent of a cup of vanilla flavoured, frothy, hot chocolate topped with marshmallows. The Creamy Candy bath is like the friend you're always delighted to see, because he bubbles over with cheerfulness no matter what life throws at him. For days when your friend is busy, it's time to indulge in some Creamy Candy'.

Price: £2.27 for 100g bar
Overall verdict:

Pro's:

• Made lots of bubbles
• Turned the bath water pink
• Really good price - can be broken in half & used twice
• Smelled devine - really sweet & 'candy' like
• Felt really nice against my skin

Cons:

• None that i can think of!
Application:
Hold the bubble bar under running hot water and crumble in between your fingers until you have used the piece up. You will then have lots of long, lasting bubbles & a nice pink bath!

Price: 5/5

Overall Rating: 5/5

Would i buy this again: Absolutely! I have already repurchased this a few times as it is one of my lush favourites! I love all things pink, girly & sweet smelling so this is perfect for me! Had a gorgeous scent, with lots of bubbles, perfect for a nice & relaxing bath!

Which lush products would you recommend?

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Comparison - Porcelain Pink & By Candlelight

Hi girlies,
The lovely Amy at http://lipgloss86.blogspot.com/ asked on twitter if anyone knew if Porcelain pink MSF was similiar to the By Candlelight MSF that has just come out with the 'Warm & Cozy' collection so i thought i would do you a comparison.

In the compact both MSF's look fairly similiar...

However when swatched, Porcelain Pink is a very light pink with gold reflects and By Candlelight is a light peachy colour with gold reflects.

I think that there is a significant difference between the two and im glad that i own both as i absolutely love MSF's and you all know that im trying to start up a collection!

I hope that this post has helped, sorry for the quality of the pictures (that have been taken in my bathroom!) but click on them to make them a little bigger! :)
Have you purchased anything from the Warm & Cozy collection?
